Meet the Managing Director of KGJ, Martin Wood
At the heart of KGJ’s success stands Martin Wood, our Managing Director.
Martin Wood founded KGJ in December 1969 after working in the financial services industry for five years, and before that in the electrical lighting industry. His passion for helping people navigate the complexities of their finances led him to create a company rooted in trust, expertise, and a personal touch.
With over half a century of experience, Martin specialises in pensions and investments, and his greatest joy is helping clients achieve their financial goals. Whether it’s assisting families in securing a comfortable retirement, guiding business owners through investment opportunities, or supporting individuals in building a secure financial future. Martin’s approach is firmly focused on understanding what the client needs and helping them achieve it, and he prefers to carefully explain how his solutions work. He has found that it is important for clients to properly understand their finances and financial solutions.
Martin lives in Stourbridge with his family. Even at 84 years old, he comes to the office every day, connecting with clients, and sharing his wealth of knowledge and experience. When he’s not in the office, Martin still enjoys windsurfing. Martin has a large family and fostered 13 children – at one point the family car was a mini-bus!
Since 1969, KGJ has been more than just a financial services provider, it’s been a trusted partner to individuals, families, and businesses in Stourbridge and beyond, under Martin’s careful leadership.
Whatever your enquiry, the team here at KGJ are only ever a call or email away. You can even get in touch using our contact form here, and one of our experts will get back to you.
